Physicochemical Properties: White amorphous powder, nontoxic, odorless, stable in the air. Slightly soluble in water, and its solubility in water is 0.02% (15'C). Its aqueous solution shows alkalescence. Easily soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution, it shall resolve and release carbon dioxide while meeting with diluted acid. Heated up to 300'C and above, it shall decompose and produce water, carbon dioxide and magnesium oxide.

Use: Used as high-quality filler and reinforcement agent of rubber products; as well as fireproof and thermal insulation materials resistant to high temperature. Light magnesium carbonate with a basis of asbestos is high-quality isolation material used for ship and boiler manufacture. And it also can be used to manufacture high-grade glass articles, magnesium salt, pigment, paint and chemicals for daily use, etc. It can be used as anti-acid agent in pharmaceutical industry. And also can be used as desiccant, color retention agent, carrier and anti-caking agent. Also used for over gastric acid, gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer, etc.
